Abstract

his is a project to combine something that I learned in this semester. I hope I can make a easy and funny game. For this game, I divided it into two parts, one is the resources collecting stage (Using Project 3 framework), the other is the fighting stage (Using some Bullet Physics Engine).

his is a project to combine something that I learned in this semester. I hope I can make a easy and funny game. For this game, I divided it into two parts, one is the resources collecting stage (Using Project 3 framework), the other is the fighting stage (Using some Bullet Physics Engine).

Technical introduction

ii. 系統的技術簡介 : 英文。

  1. Level of Detail : This part can divided into two parts
  • Material : Change between texture with different resolution, based on the distance between the camera and object.
  • Mesh : Change between mesh with different number of triangles, based on the distance between the camera and object.
  1. Sweep object : Make a mesh by using a base image along with a specific path.
  2. Collision : For something likes small box, just computes the distance between object and character.
  3. Explosion : Using particle system but uses only one particle along with shader. Material uses a dds file to store multiple pictures, render it just likes explosion in 2D.
  4. Logic : When you throw a box to the monster, only the distance between box and the center of monster is near enough can hurt monster. Because the monster will grow up as time pass by, it can be easier to hurt the monster.

iii. 系統的使用簡介。

        一開始進入程式,選Play直接進入遊戲第一階段,選View可檢視場景。

        在遊戲第一階段中,你所操控的角色負責收集資源(火藥箱),其中有些會加速遊戲進行,導致收集資源困難。

        進入第二段,島中會長出藤蔓怪,你可以在小島兩側警衛塔中發射你剛才收集的火藥箱,怪物被擊中數次後,遊戲勝利,反之,若怪物成長超過一定高度,你的小島已被怪物攻佔,遊戲失敗。
