Technical introduction

Place virtual point lights at intersections
Determine the validity of each VPL
Render scene with arbitrary degree spot and VPL
Trace light paths from light source
Fast local rendering with OpenGL
Shoot out light rays from light sources to generate VPLs
Visualize these VPLs with OpenGL
Generate a shadow map for each VPL
Rendering the scene by rasterizing all scene triangles by shading with all VPLs with their shadow map
Dynamics updating VPLs
